Ollo everyone,

My last journal was getting old, so here's an update.
I'm almost through my second year of college! It kind of makes me sad to see it go by so fast. I really enjoyed the classes and especially the people I met this year. So many of my classmates are actually very inspiring artistic people, and I feel privileged to work with them a lot of the time. I also found some great friends amongst them, for which I am very grateful. I just hope I won't lose them when the schoolyear ends... Next year will be a year of internships. I got accepted at a place that is designing a fairytale themepark in Sweden, www.witchworld.nl. I'm very excited to become a part of this, to be able to develop something like this! I will start in september, so it promises to be an interesting time!

In other news, I have finally started to pick up my drawing again. As you've probably noticed I hadn't been uploading much in the past year or so. But recently we had a subject which required us to train our creative skills. That really got me sketching and experimenting again. I also found out that I thouroughly enjoy making comics out of funny events. This is something I randomly started doing a few months ago and now the ideas keep coming. You will probably see a lot more of them! This is something I love doing, and I'm glad I found a way to weave drawings back into my life because I kind of missed it for a while. Now I know that I probably won't do much elaborate, pretty art with backgrounds and shading and stuff... Sticking to this simple, cartoon-ey style and developing that will prove as much of a challenge to me as anything, so I think I'll do that for a while now. So critiques and suggestions are more than welcome!

I also said I wanted to do more animation, but I found that those things just take too much time. Animating is awesome, and I would really love to get better at it, but right now I can't figure out how to finish my animation projects due to a general lack of time and also all the other projects I'm still working on, like Tales of Mirrors. So the dream of becoming an animator has been silenced for the time being: it's just too complicated right now. Maybe I'll pick up animating later, we'll see.

So yeah, Tales of Mirrors is also still a thing. Still editing and improving, I guess we're now at about 65%. Gonna take a lot longer to finish, but I have no doubt that eventually it WILL be finished. It's still something I love doing, the world me and ~OneCreation created still feels like home to me, and I just hope we can do it justice.

I'm also really focussing on my music recently. My band twibv has been practicing like mad, finishing songs and creating others, we've played at an elderly home and have some awesome plans for this upcoming summer. www.youtube.com/user/twibv
